The audio launch of Saradha Ramanathan’s second film, Puthiya Thiruppangal happened at the RKV Preview Theater, Chennai on 29^th March. The event was attended by director Vasanth, Ameer, Shobana, Na Muthukumar, Sivashankar Master and the Puthiya Thiruppangal team, consisting of Nanda, Andrea and Vidya Sagar
 

The first copy was released by Kalaipuli S Thanu and received by producer Thenappan. The film’s protagonist Nanda thanked all the people present at the event and all the people who worked for the film.
 

Vasanth was all praise of director Saradha. He feels she is too brainy and her excessive intelligence is too explicit in her films. Andrea, in response to the statement said that there are far too many brainy people in the industry than hearted ones and laughed about it.

Ameer was as straightforward as ever. He didn’t mind disclosing the fact that he had never heard of Saradha’s first film, Sringaram, until he came to the event. Countering the statement, Saradha pointed out, “Ameer says he doesn’t know me. But he has to. I was a part of the jury, when his Paruthiveeran won the National Award.” She also thanked her team and invitees for being there for her.
 

Karthik’s song from Puthiya Thiruppangal proved a perfect wrap up for the event.
