The first single of A.R. Rahman’s Mariyaan, directed by Bharath Bala and starring Dhanush and Parvathy went on air all across radio stations this morning. The track ‘Nenje Ezhu’ is described by the director as one of the best he’s managed to get out of the Oscar winning composer. He feels the song can inspire and lift anyone from the deepest depths of sorrows and hardships.
The day’s release doesn’t end with just the song as the team will be launching a 90 second video teaser for the song later in the evening. Besides ‘Nenje Ezhu’ there are 6 other tracks on the album and the launch of the soundtrack is expected to release later this month.
