Those associated with regional cinema always had this grudge and to add fuel to the fire the Bollywood industry started IIFA (International Indian film academy) and many people protested to change the title to International Hindi or Bollywood film academy as only the Hindi movies were awarded at the function.

So this year's IFFI, decided to make up for it by calling a South Indian film personality to preside over as the chief guest of the award function. But where there are supporters, there is bound to be some detractors too. These famous people suggested the name of the Hindi Veteran star Dharmendra and the others suggested the name of Superstar, Rajinikanth. This comes as no surprise as Rajinikanth's latest movie Sivaji was not just a superhit in Tamil Nadu but a worldwide blockbuster. The movie made many realize that Indian movies are not just the products churned out by Bollywood.

Even though calling Rajinikanth was for the best, many voiced that the superstar will definitely turn down this offer as the hero hardly comes for such social gatherings. But Mr. L.Suresh, president of the South Indian chamber of commerce said that he will take it upon himself to call the superstar and he assured that he will make it. And on the other hand T.P.Agarwal, one of the members of IFFI said that he is responsible in bringing Mr.Dharmendra. So after the worn out clash between Amitabh Vs Rajini kanth now it's the royal rumble between the Dashing Dharmendra and the Stylish Superstar.
