Now it's for its locations, Jananathan is known
to have interesting setting for his movies first
it was the dilapidated lighthouse in Iyarkai and
then it was the slums in North Chennai in E. Now
for his upcoming Peraanmai he was hunting for
interesting locales in the forests of Kerala and
Karnataka when he was told about a tree nearby
Baranikulam village which the forest officials
claimed was more than 500 years old. The evidence
put forth by forest officials only multiplied
his fascination many fold. This tree seems to
have caught his imagination so much so that he
intends to can the first shot with this tree as
the back drop. Whether it will form the backdrop
of the entire movie will only be revealed when
he movie hits the screens.
