PS in naxal territory
By Behindwoods News Bureau.

Nowadays, directors are willing to go to any lengths to give life their ideas. Looks like Karu. Pazhaniappan is also one among them. His ongoing project, Pirivom Santhippom starring Cheran and Sneha, is becoming a bag of innovations, with its songs already in the news for the lyrics.
Privom Santhippom

The songs are penned by lyricist Yugabarathy, keeping in mind the orthodox literary traits, which are considered to be the framework for Tamil poems, a rarity in the present scenario.

Pirivom Santhippom is now creating ripples in the industry for the choice of it’s shooting spots. For, the team has chosen to film a song in Warangal, which is predominantly a Naxalite territory in Andhra Pradesh. Now don’t jump to conclusions! The story has nothing to do with Naxalites, and the reason the team cites for choosing this particular place is that it has vast stretches of dry barren land, which they feel would be an appropriate setting for one particular song in the film. They, however, had adequate protection during the shoot of this song. Daring director indeed!
