Ajith’s Deepavali surprise for fans
By Behindwoods News Bureau.
November 12, 2007
Ajith’s fans were in for a huge disappointment, as their idol’s film did not make it this Deepavali. Some of them took it to their stride and went to watch the movies of other stars and many others pacified themselves by watching Ajith’s Varalaru aired by Raj TV. While they were watching their Thala’s movie on TV,

interspersed with commercials, the fans were in for a surprise, as Kalaingar TV, a wing of Raj TV, aired the trailer for Ajith’s Billa.

Billa, supposed to hit the screens on Deepavali, was postponed due to production delays. But the team ensured that the movie’s trailer was telecast on TV, on the same day as a consolation of sorts for his fans. The trailer was a stunner with slick editing and some amazing locations; and it had the feel of a Hollywood movie with Ajith looking ravishing, to say the least. The trailer showed Ajith standing outside a container filled with ammunition atop a helipad with a voice over saying: “History says that to survive, it isn’t wrong to kill any number of people.” The shots had a blue tinge to them giving a classy feel to it. This teaser was enough to quench the parched throats of Ajith fans.
