Distributors rue missing Chennai 600 028 |

Chennai 600 028, a low-budget movie, with
as much as 11 heroes and 2 heroines, all new
faces, was written off even before its release.
Though Chennai 600 028 was originally slated
to be released on April 12 it hit the screens
only on April 27. After facing many hurdles
in finding distributors for the movie, producer
SPB Charan decided to do it himself.

He is said to have faced problems even with that, as he
did not get slots in prominent theatres in the city. With
this, he had to showcase the movie in not so well known
theatres.
Despite all these obstacles, Chennai 600 028 is set to
break all barriers. The movie has been received well by
the Chennai youth and is being screened to packed houses.
Sources say that the movie may be shifted to bigger theatres
very soon. With Chennai 28 going from strength to strength
many distributors who initially rejected the movie are
now lamenting that they misjudged it.
