“People formed trains and ran around the theatre” :

Dear Editor,
First of all thanks to you for enabling ardent devotees of Rajni, like me, to share our experience in watching our GOD light up and electrify the screen. The celebrations started a week before with a pre release bash in the suburbs where people distributed chakarapongal and sweets and even free T-shirts. I was there and the person who got the first ticket was almost in cloud 99. I could see the satisfaction and happiness which our thalaivar brings even with his picture on the ticket; such is the mesmerizing effect of our thalaivar. Next came the preview on Thursday, fans were making ISD calls to India to tell their family and friends, "I am gonna watch Thalaivar movie even before it releases there". People drove all the way from neighboring tri-state to catch a glimpse of our thalaivar. It was almost planned like a get-together for friends and families.
T-shirts were given to the ticket holders and none wasted even a sec, suddenly wherever you turn every person had the Sivaji T shirt on. The multiplex was screening Oceans 13, Pirates 3, and some other heavy weight Hollywood movies. It was probably the first time the US people are seeing such frenzy fans for a 3 hr ecstasy.

We regret not being in India for only 2 reasons, family and missing our thalaivar movie release. Even for the animation trailer we had air honks, and loads of paper. We made sure we were able to create an Albert/Devi atmosphere. People were forming trains and running around the theatre. Athiradi and oru Kuudai songs just blows your mind away. Amazing sets, awesome picturizations. Who told our Thalaivar is 54, he is endrendrum 16.

Movie rocks big time and we went for 2 more shows on Sat and Sun also. We had to drive 30 miles and watch but it was trivial considering what Thalaivar offered.
Long live superstar.
There is only one and only super star, the Big BOSS of Indian Cinema , our Rajini
