After
a long gap, Prathap Pothan dons the
robe of a director in “Nee Inri”.
This film was said to feature Maddy
and Trisha in the lead role. But for
reasons unknown a Mumbai import in
the name of Rukmini will be featuring
as heroine in Nee Inri. For people
who enjoyed the pair of Trisha and
Madhavan in Lesa Lesa,
were looking for the same combination to ignite
the screen after a long gap.
But according to Kollywood circle, as Trisha is
currently committed to three mega projects with
three popular stars of the industry, she is not
able to associate herself in this film. Bheemaa
with Cheeyan Vikram is nearing completion. Shooting
for Kreedom with Ajith has already begun in Vizag.
She has also been roped in to feature with Vishal
in Sathyam. Hence industry pundits feel that unavailability
of the dates could be the main reason for Trisha
to drop out of this film.
