Surya’s
sibling Karthik’s debut movie
Paruthi Veeran is in news yet again.
Looks like Gnanavelrajan – who
started out with the movie –
wanted his movie back from Amir who
took over the production when the
movie was on the verge of abandonment.
Hailing from the close family circles
of Surya,
Gnanavelrajan seems to have offered Amir the requisite
funds that were spent for the movie.
However, news has it that Amir quoted a staggering
amount for Paruthi Veeran, which led the matter
to be elevated to the Producers Council. The council,
after scrutiny and screening of the movie opined
that Amir’s demand is astronomical.
Discussions were held in this regard wherein Sivakumar
was also present. Amir seems to have reached on
a settlement and agreed upon the rates quoted
during the discussions. As a result, the movie
is now owned by producer Gnanavelrajan.
Well, all is well that ends well. Now will the
movie hit the bull’s eye? That remains to
be seen at the box office.
