December is surely a special day for
Tamil movie fans as this day is witnessing
the release of seven new films. They
are Iyakkunar Sigaram K Balachander’s
Poi, Sangeetha’s Kaasu, Uma’s
Ilakkanam and a bunch of films like
Azhagiya Asura, Aadupuli Aattam, Aattam,
Mazhaithuli Mazhaithuli etc.
Barring
Kaasu, Poi and Ilakkanam, the other films feature
a lot of newcomers.
K Balachander’s fans are eagerly awaiting
the release of Poi. All these films are low budget
films that have enjoyed the tax benefits of the
state government. The fate of these films will
be known shortly when the report about the collections
