The
actors in a film industry are always
pushing the bar a bit higher. One
sets a standard only for it to be
raised by another. These are the times
in which the ‘dupe’ or
the stunt double, as they call it
is going out of fashion. Nowadays
heroes are expected to perform stunts
themselves. Even Shahrukh Khan had
performed some risky stunts for Don
earlier this year.
Now,
Ritesh Deshmukh (Bluffmaster, Apna Sapna Money
Money fame) has just set a precedent that is going
to be hard to emulate. He skydived an amazing
750 feet for his upcoming movie, De Taali. This
is the sort of thing that is reserved strictly
for professionals. But Ritesh has done it and
it is more than sure that this scene will draw
applause from the theatres (De Taali).
