Feroz
Gujral popular model of yester years
and daughter-in-law of the famous
artist Satish Gujral who also happens
to be the brother of former Prime
Minister I K Gujral is red with
rage. The reason for her fury points
to the direction of recent incorrect
report in certain sections of the
media about her assisting Manirathnam
in Guru.
She is very upset about this and
feels that nobody checked with her
before publishing such false report.
She is also distressed about this
especially when she is in good terms
with all the other assistant directors

So
the next question that arises in
every one’s mind is “what
was she doing in Manirathnam’s
set if she is not assisting him?”
She sheds light on this subject
and says that she merely went there
to learn a few nuances of directing.
She wanted to know all about camera
angles, continuity and the entire
process of filmmaking. Since she
considers that such aspects of direction
can never be learnt from a book,
she chose Manirathnam’s sets
for practical and hands-on experience.
She aims to be a director in future
but right now she is at the first
rung of the ladder and is content
with learning the art perfectly.

in fact has written two short films and
a full-length one. But finding the actors,
producers and getting the perfect script
ready would surely take her five years.
But the present experience, she says, would
certainly help her realize her dream of
becoming a good filmmaker one day.
