Vijayakanth has decided to contest from Vridhachalam in Cuddalore district in the ensuing elections. The party’s presidium secretary and former minister, Ramachandran would contest from Panruti. There are 18 women candidates and there would be more. He has also announced that minorities would be given adequate representation.
The party would contest in all the constituencies and he released the first list yesterday. The remaining seats and the party’s manifesto would be released shortly.
Considering the organizational leads of his political outfit, the actor turned politician is reported to have sold his engineering college.
