Two professors have said that the symphony music
of Maestro Ilayaraja has not been composed by
him at all. While Raja kept a studied silence,
Velu Prabhakaran, the atheist who gave you movies
like Kadavul, goes vehemently in favour of Ilayaraja.
“I don’t believe in God but when
I see Ilayaraja I know what it would be to believe
in God. I don’t understand why people
target a holy man like him. He has music in
his blood. Whether he knows music and whether
he has composed the symphony music can be guessed
by the type of music he has given us so far.”
