Actress Tapasee Pannu
was denied a visa for entry to Switzerland.
The incident happened on Thursday when the
actress flew to Mumbai from Hyderabad specifically
for this purpose. Sources reveal that the
Swiss consulate declined her application
for visa citing that they did not have enough
proof that she is an actress. She was asked,
by the officials, to present paper cuttings
or any other supporting documents to confirm
her status as an actress.
Interestingly, Tapasee, who hails from Ludhiana,
completed one year as an actress yesterday.
She first acted in the Telugu movie Jhummandi
Naadam. Currently, she is working with Dhanush
in the movie Aadukalam which is directed
by Vetrimaran of Pollathavan fame.
