Director Sami, who shot to fame with 'Mirugam', is in a state of bother. Known for his movies on controversial themes, Sami has currently directed Sindhu Samaveli. This movie has Harish Kalyan and Anaka in lead roles. Sindhu Samaveli is about an illicit relationship between a father and his son's wife. Since the plot is controversial, unknown persons today barged into his house in KK Nagar and ransacked it to bits. Since the identity of the persons is unknown, Samy has registered a complaint with the KK Nagar police station. Investigations are already on to find the motive behind the attacks.

Samy was notoriously known for slapping actress Padmapriya on the sets of Mirugam after which he was banned for a year from making films.
