Dhanush’s Uthama Puthiran will
be released on Diwali! This film, which
is the remake of the Telugu smash hit
Ready, which had a successful run at the
theatres for 175 days, is being expected
by Dhanush’s fans. UP’s Kannada
version Ram was also a mega success.
For the first time Genelia is paired
opposite Dhanush. Vivek, Bhagyaraj, Ambika
and Karunas are also in the star cast.
Mithran Jawahar, the man who gave hit
films like Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Kutty
with Dhanush in the lead, has directed
this film.
UP will be released in over 600 theatres
in Tamil Nadu on Diwali day.
