Santhanam’s comedy in Boss Engira
Baskaran has pushed him to the top slot
of comedians and Endhiran established
him there. The comedian recalls that most
of the dialogues in BEB were made instantaneously
on the shooting spot as both director
Rajesh and actor Arya gave him enough
space.
He reveals that the ‘Nanbenda’
catchword was inspired from Thalapathy
Nanbanda and was pronounced that way during
the entire shooting process. However,
while dubbing it was modified slightly
to Nanbenda and the catchword turned out
to be great hit.
The actor also pointed out that though
Endhiran did not offer him enough scope
as a comedian, he was happy to be a part
of the film just to share the screen space
with Rajinikanth.
