Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra owns
a stake in the Rajasthan Royals cricket
team and the lady has been promoting this
team on various occasions. With the Lalit
Modi fiasco, all those who were close
to the former Chairman and Commissioner
of the Indian Premier League are being
distanced from the IPL.
There is an allegation that Lalit has
some vested interests in the Rajasthan
Royals team; hence the team has been banned
from IPL by the BCCI though they have
a 10-year contract of which only two years
have passed.
Shilpa has said that the decision to
ban RR is distressing.
