The 40th year celebrations
of the Directors’ Council is scheduled to
be held at Nehru Indoor Stadium on 23rd,
October 2010, said noted director Bharathi
Raja. Ace director K Balachander will spearhead
the event, he added.
The function will begin at 10 am with
music programs, which will go on till
2 pm. From 2 to 4 pm, a conference of
the director has been scheduled. And from
5 to 10 pm, a cultural program has been
scheduled in which popular film stars
will participate.
Directors who have carved a niche for
themselves in the tinsel town will be
honored during this grand event.
