Aishwarya Rai had recently
revealed that she has been trying to get
rid of her popular nickname Ash for several
years but unable to do so. She appealed
to all media persons, while addressing the
media on the first day of the HDIL Couture
Week in Mumbai for fashion designer Manish
Malhotra, to refrain from mentioning her
by the nickname.
And the lady found a staunch supporter
in her husband Abhishek Bachchan. He chipped
in to make his request to the media on
the issue saying that he always dissuaded
people from calling her Ash.
