Mayabimbham Media (P) Ltd, which
produced the 3D Animated film Inimey
Nangathan (V4), is elated over receiving
the Swarna Kamal award for the Best
Animated Feature Film in 55th National
Film Awards, 2007. According to
the press release from Mayabimbham,
the citation given by the jury was,
“… For creating endearing
characters who with their breathtaking
quixotic antics, battle the evil
force of greed, in a refreshingly
new manner. For taking animation
in a new direction.”
Inimey Nangathan (V4) won Best Animation
Music Award at the Golden Cursor
Animation awards 2008 and an award
by the Tokyo Broadcasting Society,
Japan at Digicon 6+. The production
house has now commenced Puratchi
Thalaivan, a 3D Animated Feature
film featuring the late chief minister
of Tamil Nadu Dr. MG Ramachandran.
