The All-India Film Workers conference
is scheduled to begin on October
9th, 2009, at the Trade Center in
Nandambakkam, Chennai. The chief
minister of Tamil Nadu will attend
the inaugural ceremony. The two
pillars of Tamil cinema –
Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan –
will light the traditional lamp
to mark the beginning of the proceedings.
The cultural programs will be held
at the Nehru Stadium in the evenings.
Trisha will light the Kuthuvilakku
to mark its inauguration.
Prabhu Deva, Tamanna, Sunaina, Mumtaj,
Sandhya and Navya Nair will enthrall
the audience with their cultural
programs.
