Every year the Sivaji Ganesan family
has been celebrating the late actor’s
birth anniversary by distributing
awards to four eminent persons in
the film industry. This year, the
Trust instituted for the purpose
had selected singers PB Srinivas,
P Suseela, SP Balasubramanian and
make up man Muthappa.
The award distribution function
was held at the Anna Arivalayam
yesterday (October 1st, 2009). While
Sivaji Ganesan’s eldest son
Ram Kumar welcomed the gathering,
the youngest son and actor Prabhu
proposed the vote of thanks. Those
who participated in the event included
P Vasu, SP Muthuraman, Thyagu, Siva
Kumar, Vijayakumar, Chinni Jayanth
among others.
