Suriya's Vaaranam Aayiram was expected to release on Diwali and compete with the other films but, unfortunately, the film's release has been postponed. Reliable sources have it that Vaaranam Aayiram will be released on November 7th. Suriya is slated to appear in different get ups in Vaaranam Aayiram, including that of a teenaged boy, a soldier, a

mentally retarded person and a family man.

Suriya is said to have put in a lot of hard work to bring out the best in him for this film. Vaaranam Aayiram's director Gautham Menon is also pleased with the outcome. An interesting piece of news about this film is that Suriya's character will also be known as Suriya.
