Venkatesh will play the lead role in
the Telugu version of Chandramukhi 2.
The actor was initially doubtful of accepting
this role and discussed with Rajinikanth,
who played the lead in the Tamil version
of the prequel. Venkatesh says that Rajini
was very supportive and insisted that
he take up the role.
This is not the first time the actor
is essaying a character done by Rajini.
He has earlier done the Telugu version
of Annamalai, which was a hit among the
masses.
In the Telugu version of Chandramukhi
2, Venkatesh will have three different
roles to don and all of them with totally
different mannerisms.
