Vinay– too young to be a professor

The shooting of the remake film Nootrukku Nooru is going on at full swing. According to director Selva about 50 per cent of the shooting is already over. It may be recalled that Nootrukku Nooru, in which Jaishankar played the lead role, was a smash hit in the 1970s. The remake, interestingly, will have five heroines. It is worth mentioning here

that Selva’s earlier film Naan Avan Illai also had five heroines.

The director said that three heroines – Sneha, Sandhya and Kasturi – have been signed up so far and search is on for two others. The original version had the hero playing the professor’s role but due to Vinay’s (the hero in the remake) youngish looks he will be featured as a college student, adds Selva.
