Suriya for Tamil’s cause

In addition to politicians, people from many walks of life have been expressing their solidarity towards the innocent Tamils in Sri Lanka and also demonstrating their displeasure towards the Sri Lankan government. The latest to join this list are the IT professionals from Tidel Park. Today they had formed a human chain and expressed their feelings in a peaceful manner.

Suriya and Karthi also participated in this protest and when Suriya spoke on the occasion, he said, "Though I do not belong to IT industry or work here, I join them in their protest as I sincerely feel for the cause of numerous Sri Lankan Tamils. I join so many people in hoping and praying that peace returns to the island nation soon".
