However, it is important to note that though
Gautham Menon allowed the producer to cut
the film, he still feels it takes away the
intensity and the feel from the film. He
wishes that the audience could see it as
he conceived it. Perhaps if the movie becomes
a big hit, it's just possible that the cut
fifteen minutes will be restored. Or say,
years later, Menon could release it as Vaaranam
Aayiram: The Director's Cut.
