Director Thyagarajan,
who is currently directing Ponnar Shankar
with his son Prashanth in the lead, showed
the few scenes that have been filmed so far
to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi
recently. On seeing those scenes, the CM is
reported to have suggested a few corrections
to the Arukkani role played by Sneha.
Ponnar Shankar, which is based on the novel
penned by the CM, is being made on his guidance.
It may be recalled that it was the CM who
put forth Namitha’s name for negative
role in the film citing that she would be
very apt for it.
