Vijay met the Tamil Nadu
theatre owners at the Nadigar Sangam complex
recently to iron out the differences and seek
an amicable solution for his next release
Kaavalkaaran. It is well known that the theatre
owners have been demanding that Vijay make
good the losses they had incurred because
most of his recent releases fared badly in
the box office.
Following this huge unrest, the star had
offered to buy the entire rights of Kaavalkaaran
(first copy basis) and distribute it to
the theatres for an amount that will be
based on the losses they had incurred. The
theatre owners are said to be happy over
this outcome and have accepted it.
