With the Ajith starrer
Asal turning out to be an average grosser,
Sivaji productions is gearing up for their
next production venture. Although no names
are formally under consideration for the next
project, highly placed sources speculate that
the banner is keen on a project with director
P Vasu, whose earlier association with them
turned out to be a blockbuster super star
starrer - Chandramukhi.
If it's true, there are chances that Vasu
might even want to direct the sequel to Chandramukhi.
The sequel, called Aptharakshaka and directed
by Vasu himself, already released in Kannada
in February and was declared a super hit.
It was also late Vishnuvardhan's last film
(200th).
