however, is worried if the other big anticipated
blockbuster, Angels and Demons, the prequel
to The Da Vinci Code, also slated for release
then, will overshadow Bruno at the box office.
Russell Crowe and director Ridley Scott
who teamed up to give us Gladiator and American
Gangster will now come together for a remake
of the Robin Hood legend. Except instead
of the story being told from Robin Hood’s
point of view, it will be seen through the
villain’s eyes – the Sheriff
of Nottingham. As Maid Marian, Sienna Miller
plays the heroine.
Spike Lee who gave us all those controversial
masterpieces, Do the Right Thing, Malcolm
X and She’s Gotta Have it, will now
co-write and direct Time Traveler, a true
story about the first African-American to
earn a Ph.D in theoretical physics. His
name was Ronald Mallett, and he was a professor
at the University of Connecticut. The movie
will be based on his memoir, which tells
the story of his life –from struggling
with poverty to winning academic acclaim.
