saying that she could not accommodate Pokkisham
in her schedule as she was committed to
a Telugu film Dhrona and a Malayalam film
Trikatha. She also clarified that she has
been approached by ace director Mani Ratnam
and would have to participate in his film
shooting as and when called for.
According to her, that was the main reason
that she could not take up Cheran's offer.
Priya Mani said that Cheran did not approach
her directly but she received a call from
his office. To Cheran's statement that she
does not deserve a national award, Priya
Mani said probably he feels that only actresses
that star in his films are worthy of it. |
