A film festival to mark
the achievements of Kamal Haasan during his
50 years in the Indian film industry, kick
started yesterday (July 2nd 2010) in New Delhi.
The film fest was inaugurated by the Union
Minister Ambika Soni. Kamal participated in
this event along with Gauthami and her daughter
Subbu Lakshmi.
Speaking at this event, Kamal said that
the next 10 years would be his golden years
in the film industry. He added that he would
not rest on his laurels but would work hard
to achieve greater heights.
Ambika Soni thanked Kamal for gracing the
occasion despite his busy shooting schedule.
The actor had flown down from Italy, where
he had been shooting for Manmadhan Ambu,
to participate in this event.
In this three-day event, some of Kamal’s
films will be showcased and his fans get
an opportunity to view them free of cost.
