The Tamil film fraternity will
conduct an event to felicitate the
state chief minister M Karunanidhi
on February 6th 2010. The CM, according
to the film personalities, deserve
a grand event for allocating 90
acres of land for the technicians
and for bringing the culprits involved
in pirating CDs to book. It is also
worth a mention here that the CM
has promised stringent action against
those involved in video piracy.
The Nadigar Sangam, the Producers’
Council, Distributors Association,
Small Screen Artistes Association,
the Film Chamber of Commerce, FEFSI
and the Theatre Owners’ Association
will all join hands to make the
event a grand success.
All shooting on February 6th stands
canceled, says the press report.
