Rajinikanth’s speech during
the Jaggubhai press has irked a
section of the theatre owners. According
to the Theatre Owners’ Association
press release, Rajini had said that
the pirated CDs cannot be made without
the knowledge of the theatre owners
as most of the pirated CDs are camera
prints shot in the theatres.
The press release further states
that Rajini’s talk implied
that they all work in connivance
with the criminals and it has hurt
the theatres owners and distributors.
The Superstar, the press note states,
should apologize for his talk. Wonder
