There were speculations in Kollywood as
to who would don the director's mantle.
This issue was solved recently with Jayam
Raja being signed up to take off the venture.
Since Ilayathalapathy wanted the film to
be a thorough family entertainer with the
usual action packed scenes to satiate his
fans, the best director who could deliver
the goods – Jayam Raja – was
approached.
With the most important decision about his
50th film safely out of the way, Vijay was
able to concentrate on his 51st film, says
sources. We have news from unconfirmed sources
that Lingusamy will direct this venture.
With Vijay busy with two projects and Lingusamy
having his own Paiyya, we don't know when
this project will commence. Let's wait till
the announcement is official.
