Lakshmi Rai banks on Dhaam Dhoom
By Behindwoods News Bureau.
January 03, 2008
Lakshmi Rai who started her Kollywood debut in R V Udaykumar’s Karka Kasadara has been having a very moderate run in the industry. She is yet to have a blockbuster hit to give her credit and while lamenting about the same, she attributes the scripts for her ‘not-so’ good career in the industry.

In a recent interview she says, “Though I have acted in three to four films in Tamil, I certainly feel disappointed that none of them have given me a good break or name”.

She emphatically states that success is the sole key word in tinsel town and any artist in the industry is identified by his or her hits. She blames her choice of scripts for her failure to make a mark in tinsel town and avers that she would be doubly careful in future in selecting the right script and the company. While discussing about her impending projects, Lakshmi says that she has pined all her hopes on Dhaam Dhoom where she is being paired with Jeyam Ravi and hopes that 2008 would be a good year for her.
