Shanthanu teams up with a Malayalam hero

Actor-Director Bhagyaraj is directing a film titled Pudhiya Vaarpugal with his son Shanthanu in the lead. Though the film has the title of his smash hit that was released 30 years ago it is not a remake, confirms Bhagyaraj. With enquiries pouring in to know whether the film is remake, the director is said to be considering a name change.

Malayalam hero Aniruddh is playing an important role – police officer - in this film. Chandini plays Shanthanu’s arm candy.
