Pazhani in Sriperumbudur

Director Venkatesh is currently busy shooting Malai Malai in Sriperumbadur near Chennai. The film stars Arun Vijay and Vedhika in lead roles. Others in the cast include Prakash Raj, Ganja Karuppu and Santhanam. Malai Malai is a racy entertainer that is based in the temple town Pazhani. Sources close to the film unit say that a huge set comprising of a market, streets and temple, resembling those in Pazhani, have been built at a cost of about Rs. 50 lakhs.

A fight and duet sequence has been filmed in this location thus far. Recently, the team was spotted shooting a fight sequence that was choreographed by Kanal Kannan.
