Vijaya Vauhini Productions, which is entering
into its sixtieth year in the film industry,
recently launched the latest venture, Bharath
starrer Yenga Veetu Pillai in a simple event
at their office. The title of the film automatically
reminds us of the hugely popular MGR hit
which was also produced by the same firm.
Apart from Bharath, the film has Prabhu,
Vivek, Sampath Raj, Livingston, Pragathi
and Aarthy. Two newcomers will also feature
in the film. Yenga Veetu Pillai will be
written and directed by Badhri who has previously
made Veerappu and Aindham Padai.
According to the producers the film will
be the story of two close friends, who are
estranged from each other due to a wicked
plot and vie for each other's blood. One
of the friend's son takes efforts to get
them united. Shooting is slated to begin
soon and will happen at Chennai, Hyderabad,
Kodaikanal, Malaysia and Singapore. |
