they heard Nilan's script, they felt it was a story worth making. Krishna, who was studying in the U.S. was asked if he wanted to break away from there and act in films or continue his career there. Krishna opted to come back to India and act. With Vishnuvardhan too giving a strong green signal to his brother, the crew and cast seems to be finalized for the project.
The same crew from Pattiyal will work on this film, except instead of Yuvan for music it will be Vidyasagar. The film is tentatively titled Ali Baba, and will be a comedy thriller. Nilan was reluctant to part with the story but he was willing to reveal this much: that the story is about a man who suddenly gets very lucky. He discovers something that changes his luck completely, granting him everything he wishes. Once Prakash Raj heard the story, he wanted very much to do the film. He has agree to be in it, as will be Radha Ravi. The setting of the film is to be Chennai and surrounding areas.
