Meenakshi’s mandira punnagai

She might not have been remembered for the uber-chic role in the racy flick TN 07 - AL 4777, but Meenakshi was very much everybody’s favorite when she debuted in an earthy role with Karuppusamy Kuthagaidaarar opposite Karan. With her glam quotient not working out she has decided to return to her roots with her next flick.

She has landed in a plum role with Mandira Punnagai, directed by Karu Palaniappan. Palaniappan was responsible for giving Sneha an unforgettable role in her career with Parthiban Kanavu. We hear Palaniappan is also making an appearance in the film apart from directing it.
