Though there were several directors
in the race to direct Ajith’s
50th film, the opportunity has been
bagged by Venkat Prabhu, we hear.
A few months ago there were reports
that Ajith expressed his interest
to work with the director. Things
apparently started taking shape
soon after an informal meet between
the director and the actor.
There is a strong buzz in Kollywood
that Venkat Prabhu has narrated
a story to Ajith and the Ultimate
Star has consented to star in it.
It is said that the project would
take off soon after Ajith completes
his Asal and Venkat Prabhu is off
with Goa.
