UTV
has sent a circular to all the media
houses that it has not authorized
any remake of the hit thriller, A
Wednesday. It was rumored that there
would be a Tamil remake of A Wednesday
with Pasupathy in the lead.
However, the UTV circular clarifies
that so far they have not struck a
remake
deal for a Tamil version of A Wednesday. The
circular further asserts that there were negotiations
but until UTV itself confirms it, there are
no remakes at this point. "Anyone claiming
that they are remaking A Wednesday are making
false claims," it further said.
