Ace art director Thotta Tharani has created
a huge ship for the film Ilaignan. Thotta
Tharani is known for his excellent art work
and the sets that he had created for numerous
films earlier have all been well-appreciated.
This film, which is based on the novel
penned by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister
M Karunanidhi, is being directed by Suresh
Krishna. Lyricist Pa Vijay plays the lead
role with Meera Jasmine pairing opposite
him. Namitha plays the baddie and Kushboo
is also included in the star cast.
