Director Selvaraghavan’s
Aayirathil Oruvan will soon be released
after a long time spent in making.
While there are many speculations
about its storyline and theme, it
is generally being thought in the
industry that it revolves around
fantasy. Now insiders reveal that
the first half is centered on fantasy
while the second half deals with
a very powerful social issue.
The movie is also said to be filmed
in different terrains. Its journey
begins in the streets of Chennai,
meanders around the sandy deserts
of Rajasthan, roams in the dense
jungles of Kerala and surfs the
rough waves of Puducherry. This
magnum opus of Selva is alleged
to be a milestone in Indian cinema
on a completely different topography.
