With the couple of much-anticipated Tamil movies biting dust at the box office in recent times, the theatres seem to have lapped up Hindi and English movies. Subramaniapuram is the only Tamil movie that seems to be ruling the roost at the Chennai box office. However, all is not lost as there is an impressive line up of movies

ready to hit the screens in the near future.

Chennai 28 team's next venture Saroja went through the scissors of censor officials and was cleared with a U certificate. Saroja is likely to hit the screens on August 29. That apart, Vinay's second film Jeyam Kondan is also ready to be released on the same day. It's more than a year since his debut blockbuster 'Unaale Unaale' hit the screens and expectations are mounting for Jeyam Kondan. Cheran's Raman Thediya Seethai has wrapped up recently and according to sources, will see the light of the day on September 5. Till then, however, there are those Hindi and English movies to keep the ticket counters company.
